A swollen fetlock will cause Archipenko to miss Saturday’s renewal of the Coral Eclipse Stakes (G1), reported trainer Mike De Kock’s website. What was due to be his first start since finishing sixth in the Audemars Piguet Queen Elizabeth II Cup at Sha Tin in April, the future for the son of Kingmambo is undetermined. Archipenko was victorious in this year’s Zabeel Mile (G3) at Nad Al Sheba before finishing sixth behind Gladiatorus in the Dubai Duty Free (G1); he was third in the 2008 Dubai Duty Free (G1), won by Jay Peg.
